Workshop Details

Craniosacral therapy is a non-intrusive form of therapy where we use the body’s natural ability to heal itself.  In craniosacral therapy, we look at the individual as a whole and use gentle techniques to reduce stress, revive the spirit and rejuvenate the body.  Our primary focus is to promote health and wellbeing.  Working with the intra-cranial (the skull area) and dural membrane systems (the spinal column area) therapists can achieve extraordinary results that can bring healing affects throughout the body.  The techniques taught in this introductory class begin with:

  • the palpation of the craniosacral rhythm
  •  once identified using the rhythm to induce a still point / bring the rhythm
  • and work with the intra-cranial and dural membrane systems to release restrictions in the body.

These techniques promote peace, rest, and relaxation for the client and are wonderful additions to any modality.
